Mentoring and coaching with Rene Gomez
Give what matters
your attention.
Practical support for men navigating midlife, couples preparing for marriage or strengthening their relationship, and adults looking for more room to think and live intentionally.
Four places to begin
What’s asking for your attention?
Mentoring brings perspective, wisdom, and life experience to questions about relationships, growth, and direction. Coaching focuses on goals, habits, wellness, decisions, and accountability for practical next steps. These approaches often work together; start with the area that feels closest to your life.
Personal Growth & Wellness
You’re dependable for everyone else, but your own health, friendships, or priorities get whatever is left. In midlife, that can come with a sense of drift: plenty of responsibility, less clarity about where it’s all going. That experience shows up in different ways for both men and women.
Coaching offers a way to look at your routines, choose priorities, and build accountability for realistic commitments. That might mean making time for movement, protecting rest, or reconnecting with people who matter to you.
Relationships & Marriage Preparation
You’re planning a marriage and want to talk about the life beyond the wedding. Or you’ve been together for years and want to understand the disagreements and habits you keep returning to.
Conversations can explore how you communicate, handle conflict, and make decisions about money, family, and shared values. There’s room for family backgrounds, parenting expectations, and how technology affects your time together. Relationship mentoring and coaching focus on shared understanding, everyday choices, and preparation for marriage. This is not couples therapy.
Stress, Attention & Busy Minds
Your day is full, and your mind keeps going long after it ends. You find yourself distracted, overcommitted, or restless even when there’s time to pause.
Take a closer look at what fills your attention and which demands you can simplify. Practice making room to pause, accepting what you can’t control, and taking responsibility for the choices you can make. Choose sustainable habits that fit your actual day.
Soul Care & Life Direction
You may be at a turning point, tired of always reaching for more, or unsure whether the way you’re living reflects what you believe matters. Faith may be a source of strength, weariness, questions, or none of those.
Soul care mentoring offers perspective and space to examine how you’re living: what you give your energy to, where you need courage or acceptance, and when enough might be enough. Spiritual reflection can be part of the conversation when you want it. Curiosity and uncertainty are welcome.
What it feels like
Room to be honest.
Support to follow through.
Bring the situation as it is: a conversation you’re avoiding, a habit that isn’t serving you, or a decision you keep putting off. Rene listens, asks questions, shares perspective from experience, and helps you connect what you notice with something you can practice.
You help set the direction. Together, you can consider how family expectations, relationships, and the responsibilities you carry shape your choices. There’s room to reflect and to be specific about what you’ll do next.
Rene brings health and wellness coach training and more than 15 years of pastoral care and counseling experience to his current work in mentoring and coaching. Path Restore does not provide counseling, therapy, or clinical mental health treatment. His Christian background is part of his perspective; you decide whether spiritual reflection belongs in your conversations.
